Default Stain removal

I am having a nightmare getting ink pen stains out of my sons school shirt, in the UK a stain devil would have worked without any problem but I can't seem to find them in Aus, I have tried Napisan and Sard and neither work, has anyone got any ideas?

I boght a little oblong yellow block ( can't remember the name ) from Mitre 10 stacked in boxes on the cash desk, was $2 and I find it works on most things. Goodluck

Household ammonia usually gets out ink stains. I know I have seen my wife use in our our eldest's school shirts.

You might get a good result with oil of eucalyptus - use a couple of drops neat. It's a very effective stain remover and I've got ink out with it on more than one occasion.

I've heard that hairspray works on ink stains. Just spray on the ink and wipe of excess just before washing.

Worth a try!!
Cheers.
