Default Stacking in containers...

Just a quick one for anyone bringing a car over, hubby just started work at international removals, yesterday a container came in with a 4x4 in it, plus some furniture.
Now this is the good bit the daft sods the other end had decided to stack everything on top of the car, sofas the lot, you can imagine the damage.
Make sure with your shippers that your container is big enough for car and furniture without your sofa having to live on top of the car all the way, the car ended up dented and scratched, its owner will not be happy.

Jenny

No-one on here is it, he also said someone has shipped over an ancient mini that is happily rotting away.

Yeah sorry to hear that Jenny, i contract to Grace in Adelaide, we have noticed over the last couple of years that the quality ,of shipments x-UK have dropped dramaticaly. When loading vehicles and HHG [house hold goods} we will build a frame or "mezzanine" over the car, then load on top. Their seem,s to be an Attitude in the UK, that out of sight is out of mind, when it comes to claim,s. We had a "pug' mezzane in recently with a huge dent in the bonnet, courtesy of a book carton...... ............ mm
