Default Spouse Visa Query

Hi,

We're trying to complete our application for a spouse visa today.
In the Partner Migration booklet it says we should provide evidence that the relationship is genuine, including the history of our relationship and:
1. Financial evidence
2. Nature of the household
3. Social context
4. Nature of commitment

Does anybody have some ideas of how to get this? We could send a joint bank statement for 1, but do we just include everything else in a letter?
How has anyone else completed this?

Thanks for your help

Glenn

1. Joint payment of bills, mortgage or rent.
2. Letter to you both at the same address.
3. invitations to partys, weddings, clubs you both go to.
4. A statement each describing your relationship how you met, milestones how you support each other emotionally.

Have attached something which might help that I downloaded from the Australia house website.

Hope that helps

Bryony

They asked me to provide all that when I filled in the spouse visa papers, even though we have been married 7 years and have 3 kids together we had to have letters saying how we met, a stat dec from someone that knew us etc. It seems a ridiculous thing to ask for people who have been married a while with kids.

Try and get 2 stat decs from Australian Citizens or permanent residents and include certified proof of status. Get at least one stat dec from each side of the family. Although not requirements applicants have been requested for more proof when stat decs from each side of the family have not been provided.

Do some searches on Anthonykirby in this forum and the immigration forum and you will get all the lists of evidence you could probably ever need.

I went though the process 2 years ago and have just completed final stage processing. Good luck

Have recently spoken to an agent about this. He also suggests including evidence of joint travel in last 2 years. Luckily for us, I'm a centimental old bugger and have kept all tickets etc. Sad but true. We are off again Christmas Eve to Fuertuventura so will be keeping these travel docs too.

Good luck

I also scanned photos of us together and labelled them with the context and date.

I also have the other halfs name on the TV license, water rates and the gas and leccy bills.

All these would help if you have them.

Cheers
