Default Spouse Visa Processing Times

Can anyone tell me what the actual waiting period is for spouse visas at the moment?

What have your experiences been? Did you have phone interviews?

Hoping to head off to Perth in May 04, but not sure how long the expected processing time is.

Thanks

Mrs Jacko

Not submitted application yet. I know the DIMIA website says up to 4 months, but from reading on this forum last year it seems to be quicker. Just wondering at the moment how quick they're processing?

The London AHC has been known to process straight forward applications with no character or health complications in 2 weeks. 2 years ago my application took 16 weeks but 4 weeks of that was getting hold of character checks.
