Default Sponsorship with a HNC? Please help!

Hi guys, my husband and I are currently looking into immigrating and he has approached a few people, and looks like sponsorship is possible. He currently works as a Project Manager, but has 8+ years doing Engineering and working as an engineer, site manager and now PM. The only thing we are potentially worried about before pressing the button on anything is - he holds BTEC quals and an HNC in construction. We are worried an HNC wont be enough and we will be rejected.

Has anyone applied for a visa holding a HNC and been either successful or unsuccessful that could shed some light, or even anyone who was advised regarding this that could pass that advice on?

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I think he would apply for one under am Engineering technologist or Engineering Technician. There are a few helpful people on this forum that will keep you right or best bet is to contact a migration company and they would talk you through options.

I have a similar background to your husband (HNC, apprenticeship and now a project engineer) and holding off applying for visas, although we would be applying through my wife's job as a nurse. My concern is my qualifications matching up with the Australian standard to find the same level of employment I have here in the UK.
