We spotted this guy outside munching a bug (attached) - and we've had a redback in our little girls playroom :scared:
But for the most part the fly screens seem to keep them outside and thankfully they keep their distance!

Is that a wolf spider? and it looks like its munching on a cockroach, clever spider! :p

Spider bite deaths are grossly under-reported in Australia for fear of scaring away POME migrants. When they give "natural causes" as the cause of death, read "spider bite" at least 30% of the time.

Consider yourselves warned!

mate I've never understood this spider fascination. I've yet to see a Huntsman thats been as big as they're supposed to be. :D

We had one for a few months that got to about 4 inches across...

What the OZ government does'nt tell you is that the real reason they want you to immigrate to OZ is'nt the skills shortage but to replace all the Aussies that are killed by venomous spiders each year in order to maintain Oz's population.
