To spend 120-130k pounds on property in UK
Its not really Australia related theme, apologize if this topic shpould not be here.
Just was wondering - we may go to UK in 2011-2012, we have 120-130k pounds sitting in a UK bank, cannot really convert the money at todays rates, so we fancy an idea of buying an at least 2 bedroom townhouse / semi detached house or similar to rent out and also use it as a base in Europe if we work somewhere far form Australia or holiday place.
Could anybody recommend any nice areas we can afford and where rents wouldnt be a problem?
