Thats really scary....I read right through that paragraph like I would have had the spelling been correct!!

Hardly any of the words did I have to pause at to try to understand them.

But then having said that, you would still have to have the spelling right in order for that to work, just doesnt matter the order of the correct letters...

PS, honestly, how long did it take you to type that out like that?

Here's your off sprung's home work currected by MS-Word:

I consult bleue that I cloud audacity uesdnatnrd what I was randier The
phenomenal power of the human mind Occurring to a scholarch team at
Cambridge Uinervtisy, it doesn’t matter in what order the letters in a word
are, the only iprmoatnt thing is that the first and last letter be in the
right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it outfit
a problem. This is buccae the human mind does not read every letter by
istle, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? ayah and I always thought
spelling was important.

That's actually how Pitmanscript works.

Pitmanscript of what you learn if you don't want to learn the full shorthand. You take first and last letters of words and miss out the middle so you can write really quickly. I did the full Pitman shorthand at school but my sister did Pitmanscript. It's meant to be quicker/easier to learn.

Dyslexics can't read it at all. Why I don't know, wouldn't have thought it would make much difference but it does.
