Default Speeding fine

Just received a speeding fine in the post today. Not disputing it but for my own peace of mind I wanted to check the speed limits on the Bruce Highway at Kybong. Anyone know of anywhere I can check on the web for road limits.

I don't think you can, you just have to keep an eye out for signs.

When driving divide your vision between looking out for speeding signs and staring at your speedo and you'll be fine. Don't bother actually looking at where you're going, nobody else does!

Cheers

You could find the location at Google Maps and using streetview follow the road until you see a sign. The bad news is each click seems to take you about 10 metres down the road so you could be there clicking for HOURS until you come across a speed limit sign.

Using the Google maps method I found an 80 sign just North of Kybong, here

I'll leave you to look South!

Hey,

just thought I'd let you know. I received a speeding fine and wote in, not to dispute, but to request it be recinded. They agreed to cancel the notice. I've heard other people have also done this with their 1st notice. Might be worth a try.

Good luck!
