I believe there is a church in Melbourne that has Welsh speaking services - does anyone know this one? Or could it be Adelaide? Maybe worth a google search.

If so, they may be able to point you in the right direction for Perth.

Good luck
Merlot (with a little Welsh blood!)

there is an area between ipswich and brisbane that has a large welsh contingent and welsh is spoken at school and in church, i'm sure there must be other areas in australia where welsh is spoken.

Default Welsh!

funny-I said to my husband that I have seen an italian club and loads of other clubs etc but no welsh ones!

I think it is important to be proud of where you are from and maintain your heritage.

I don't speak welsh but my dad could not even speak english until he was 9!

To an extent but not to the exclusion of getting into society. The British are respected for their lack of clubiness down under.

Surely the reason for having such clwbs is to exclude others who don't speak that language. You still havn't forgot about that BBQ incident have you?
