Default Speaking of spelling...

...I think an abbreviated version was posted here a few days ago.

I wonder if you would still be able to read this if the letters in the words were actually incorrect - i.e. misspelled?

Ah well, back to my studying...

Ah bless, it was your good self. I knew I'd seen it here.

Nah, couldn't possibly be as old as me - just because the old memory is going....

So have you got an answer for me? Can you still read it if the letters are all wrong?

And a couple of amusing and true examination clangers:

The lovely maiden was pinned to the tree by 2 great loins.

Sir Francis Drake said 'the Spanish Armada can wait, my bowels can't.

I guess these 2 give a lie to the claim that spelling doesn't matter as you put a completely different perspective on both situations with the wrong spelling.

Not just spelling but visuals to. I walked into our bedroom to get changed on saturday night and saw something on top of the curtain rail, first I thought it was a very large spider (for the UK anyway) then I though my other half had put a cuddly toy up there, eventually after probably 30 seconds I was able to see what it actually was (a racing pigeon that had decided to take a rest for the night).
