Spain is to the Uk as ***** is to Brisbane??
Hi Guys n Gals
I was wondering what countries Aussies go to on holiday when they go abroad?
What countries are popular, accessible and reasonable cost-wise?
So what is Brisbane's 'Spain' if you catch my drift.

Yes, Tassie is a must for anyone in Oz. Looking at a site the other day, looks fantastic.
Not sure I would live there though had enough of island life on the Isle of Man!!

in my experience, most aussies just go elsewhere in oz, unless they plan a big trip to europe

True, I think brisbanes answer to spain is more likely to be a trip to the gold coast, surfers
is rather like benidorm or blackpool with sun

To the OP your choices of a reasonably priced non Australian holiday are very limited here by comparison to Europe. forget about easyjet style £19 holidays or thomson fly etc. It costs a fortune to fly anywhere from here and the choice is a bit limited.
