Default somewhere to stay?

hi all,
its my first post so go gentle with me.
i will be emigrating to perth very shortly, we look to be there by the end of november after having a bit of a tour. we have 3 kids, age 2,6,8. and will need all the help we can get.
so if any one can help with,
1. house to rent north of the river, mullaloo, mindarie area(ish) (but im open to anywhere),
2. any school recomendations.
3. any work placements, i am an engineer and have worked on all types of forklift equipment and plant etc (specialising in engine powered equipment) but can work on any type i have also worked on the railways. (im 38 married and in good health)

thanks for reading and stay lucky

Have you looked at the Poms in Perth site. They help with rentals for newbies.
