Default Somerville to Cranbourne

There may be no answer to this, but there is no loss in asking.

I am in Somerville and need to get to Huntingdale each day as cheaply as possible and in the shortest time. Currently I get the Somerville Diesel train to Frankston. Frankston to Caufield train, then back down to Huntingdale on the Cranbourne Line. This all takes only about 1.5 hours, but I have to be at Somerville Station at 6:40.

If I could get to Cranbourne for 8:10 its just half an hour going back up the line.

Now there do not appear to be any buses from Somerville to Cranbourne.

Any ideas anybody? and no I cannot fly, as it has been suggested.
