Fiance Visa questions (delay from preganancy?)
Hello,
Just have some questions about applying for a Fiance Visa for my fiance in the US.
She is currently in her 2nd month of pregnancy, does this mean she will not be granted a visa until after she gives birth due to the chest X-ray she can't take because of pregnancy? I would really love it if she could be in Australia for the birth.
Also, if I sponsor her to come to Aus, does it matter if I am unemployed and recieving Youth Allowance? Will that mean they will just put an AOS on it?
Thanks for your time,
Nick

It might do. Depends on your financial circumstances and what support
you'll have back in Australia. They may also ask for an assurance of
support.

Not necessarily. If born in the US, you'll be able to apply for
Australian citizenship by descent for the child.
It's very difficult to be allowed to fly in the late stages of
pregnancy.
