Default Some Problem in X-Ray

Dear All,

All doing medical tests, it has been revealed that one side of my lungs is not very clear. The assessing doctor has asked me to carry out a lot of tests and consult the Chest Specialist and get the TB free certificate from him. I am very surprised with this finding. I never had TB in my life nor I have any symptoms of it. Of course, some of my family members suffered from TB 15 years ago.

Any suggestions or comments.

Best regards,
Gokul

You probably have the same problems as I do. My brother got TB when he was a kid and now my X ray is not clear. I have got inactive TB. It's nothing serious, they will probably ask you to register for medical undertakings for 2 years and you application can take up to 12 months

Dear Leonard_Nicky,

Thanks for your information.

But one thing is not clear from your post. I have done all the tests recommended by my panel doctor and chest specialist and all the tests results are negative. The Chest Specialist has even prepared a certificate showing all normal findings. I have already sent my medicals test reports to DIMIA and I have signed the health undertaking and have sent it to DIMIA without being asked.

Please let me know why you think my application can take 12 months more as I think now my case is straight forward.

Best regards
Gokul

I saw my friend's ack letter and the bottom, they write that if you have issues with police checks or health it can take up to 12 months.

I am not too sure what your case is...when your doctors say clear does it mean clear from active TB? cos I am cleared from active TB and I don't show any symptom of TB but there was a dot in my X ray and given that my bro had TB, they infer that I had inactive TB. But you will still get it anyway so don't worry too much

Even a heavy lung infection can show up on x-rays.and if they are not sure wether it is tb or not, they will do some more tests and give you the all clear after those..wouldn't worry too much. You have to be pretty sick to be denied a visa.My brother has heavy asthma and he got in without problems.read about someone with Crohn disease who got in too without any problems.
