I'm happy so far, it's spinning backwards nicely. Cheap system 4 k all up Xantrex inverter & 16 195w panels 10 yr guarantee on the inverter & 25yr on the panels. Like I say a move is on the cards so just wanted to lock in the 44cent deal, makes the house more saleable
The sparkie wrote the meter reading on the meter so I'm sure they can deduce that its ran backwards for a few weeks
Xantrex inverters are in the top 3 quality inverters in the world IMO, so that's a good deal.

Just be aware, the 44c FiT expires as soon as a new name gets put on the account. So if you sold the house or rented it out, that new account holder would not be eligible for it. They would still gain the benefit of using the energy though

**%$ @### @#$** As soon as I spend the money on solar they announce that the energy companies [in QLD] want to stop the current system. Buy your excess power for jack shit and sell it back to you at night for 4-6 X more than they paid you for it. I knew there was a reason I didn't listen to Incontinence FM [classic FM]

Now the esteemed Mr Newman has now decided that because we can afford solar & pay less for our power we can now afford to pay a premium tariff to "cover the cost of the infrastructure"
Penalised for spending our hard earned cash on solar to save on exorbitant power bills.

SOLAR households can breathe easy - the Newman Government has decided against slugging them with special fixed tariff fees.

The Courier-Mail on Wednesday revealed a report ordered by the Government had recommended fixed fees for households with solar power.

The report by the Queensland Competition Authority said fixed fees would prevent solar households from effectively passing on their network costs to other consumers.
