Cool So what do you do when it rains here on the Gold Coast?

The rain is here and looks like staying for a bit....

What can you do here which doens't cost too much money? Done the cinema and shopping (markets n stuff) but the weekend is looming and no plans as such apart from the pub and watching the English premier league -this is far too much like home in the winter tho!!

Any ideas would be great

Oh no,you wouldnt want to be in the spa in this weather at the moment, weve had severe weather warnings and Moreton Bay had winds of 125km last night, good news is we installed rainwater tank and pool diverter at the weekend and the pool and the tank are full already.

We've been watching the grass get a bit greener, encouraging and feeding the local wildlife, sorting out the veggie patch, listening to our tank fill with water, clearing up the fallen branches and sorting out some firewood for the future ... it's a full life.

The sound of water on a colo(u)rbond roof is a marvellous thing.
