Its days like today that I wish I was emigrating somewhere a little warmer! It's been snowing in south east england constantly since tuesday. We did think we'd make the most of it today and induldged our inner children by heading out to the yard to see how our new team member was doing

We had 11 inches when those of our staff who could get in did, as usual the roads are pretty bad but the council seem to be doing their best to clear them, snow's just too heavy! We've been getting our trucks and crews out as best we can but it's time for the snow to stop now, our customers dont need the added stress of snow on moving day too, isnt moving overseas enough to cope with!!
Does make you feel nice and christmassy though

My mum is flying out of Manchester on Wednesday morning and i am just hoping she can get to the airport ok and also not cancel the flight

I have been looking at pictures people have shared on facebook and it looks like a fair covering

I fly back on Tuesday so have been looking every day to see how it's going there. So far they have only cancelled flights within the UK and to some European cities, all other flights have been fine. Hopefully it's going to stay that way!

To be fair, they are keeping the major roads as clear as they can. The only day there were problems for me was the day it was falling faster than it could be cleared. I've never seen so much snow fall in 4 hours!
