Hello again all you Adelaide peeps,

Thanks for bothering to read my thread. Anyway, things are racing along at this end and at this rate we'll be having xmas on the beach!!!

Soooo, once again i'm here to pick your brains.

Can anyone recommend an estate agents for housing rental, and what will they require for their points. We own our own home here so cannot provide rental refernces.

Also, does anyone know of a horse riding school for my 7 year old? (I know this may not strike as a priority for many but she has aspergers so continuity is important)

Any other hints and tips feel free to post them.

Cant' help you with riding schools,with regards to realestate agents it depends what area you want to live,here are two which have got good reputations, TOOP TOOP, L.J HOOKER.

You could try the RDA or ask them for a recommendation if they're not suitable. They have centres in a few places near Adelaide.

Thanks for that Welshpom, its the closest i've come to a riding school for her and i will give them a ring, but Anya has been riding for two years and is cantering and jumping, so I need a challenge for her.

Cheers Irish Guiness, spent hours looking at houses and my kids got so peed off with me ignoring them that i think they started to make their own dinner / do the ironing, bath themselves, at one point I thought they were actually gonna pack up and leave home !!!!!
(theyre 3 and 7)!!!

If you settle south of Adelaide, you could come down to the Fleurieu for Narnu Farm on Hindmarsh Island. It's about 80 minutes drive from Adelaide's CBD, 35 mins from the southern suburb of Noarlunga.

Hey guys,

there's a riding place in Blackwood where you can pick your level of skill, how far you want to go, how many guides, etc. They also do lessons if required. I have been out once with them and they were great, they let me canter, jump, etc as i was worried it would be just plodding along being bored, give them a try...

As for rentals, i found this the most stressful part of moving here. They don't like pets, they don't like short-term leases, they don't like anyone. Also, not wanting to put a downer on but rental property at the moment in Adelaide (and surrounds) is at 2% shortfall, this basically means there is none available, that 2% covers those moving out and those moving in. It is very difficult to find anywhere. you can look at Realestate.com.au and go to the rental section this will give you some idea of places. if you find anything and want any advice re the location, send me the suburb name and i'll let you know where it is in relation to civilisation and the desirability of it, if you like
