Believe me, there are gazillions stranded and it will take some time for things to get back to normal.

Yes and the hotels are coining it ripping people off with inflated accommodation fees it's a disgrace.I have friends that were off on a holiday of a lifetime with their 2 kids and have been stranded since Wednesday shame.They flew from South Africa to London and were supposed to be in Florida/Disneyland last Saturday.What a nightmare for the travel agents and airlines though/the insurance companies are going to be swamped in paperwork for the next month at least !
