Question Skills assessment for IT Specialist

Hi,

This is my first post so please be gentle.

I have recently completed all of the points tests for the 'Skilled Independent' migration and obtain a score of 115 points (which is enough for a pass), how ever this main factor on this test that concerns me is the skills assessment.

I have obtained the form 1121i and gone to the assessing bodies website (ACS - http://www.acs.org.au/ ), but this site explaines that first off a degree is needed (which I do not have) plus six years experience (which I have, but two years of this is difficult to prove as I was in the Royal Navy).

The thing that gets me is that the points test informs that you only need trade certificates (i.e. MCSE CCNA Solaris Certification etc at a guess) plus 3 years experience, which I do have.

Is anybodies experience would my case present a problem, or is the assessing body a strict regime that would fail my skills assessment?

It appears that I posted this in the wrong forum, my appologies for that. I have posted this in the correct forum now.
