Has anybody who has been granted their visas, received a letter from the Australian government about a new website dedicated to helping you find a job in Australia?

www.skilledmigrant.gov.au

You register, and then enter all your details, inc CV, visa grant number, and details of qualifications?

Is it worth doing, or is it like the skills matching database Im on, and have only had 2 agencies pestering me?

Any else done this? It would be useful to know

Did it come with your grant letter? or when your passports come back??...we havent seen one yet although our passports are at Oz house at the mo waiting for our pink stickers!

we sent ours day of visa grant! 4/5 got them back 5 days later no letter?????

My visa grant was by e-mail, and it didn't come back with passport, as that was from London.

This has been sent from Australia last week. 1 month after my visa was granted.

It doesn't come with the passport or visa grant.

This came separately. Think it's a new website that has just been introduce by Aus Dept of Immigration.

Sorry but as I'm no where near having a visa granted (like you have and yes I'm very jealous lol) I haven't done it yet but will get round to it nearer the time.

I did register end of last week.
They haven't advertised the jobs for the new unit where i want to work but have promised (won't hold my breath ha) to employ me on a casual basis if i am over there before it opens.

Why would they start a new website I wonder when the skill matching database is simelar??? very odd!

Its another resource for employers to find skilled people they want and includes a persons CV which the other database doesn't.
