Skill Assessment for SAP Finance Consultant???

Skill Assessment for SAP Finance Consultant???
Hi All!
I'm a SAP Finance consultant and I'm wondering whether I should go ahead with the skill assessment or the RPL. I have a Bachelors degree in Commerce along with the SAP Certification on the finance module. Aside from those two qualifications, I dont have anything with IT as a major. But you wouldnt really find any SAP finance consultant that would have IT since we would all have come from finance backgrounds before we got in to SAP. With 4 plus years of experience on SAP and the certification, do you think I could go ahead with the skill assessment? I would be applying under the Applications and Analyst Programmer - 2231-17.
Are there any existing members with the same background as me? If yes, what did you guys do? Let me know...am quite confused at this point.
