I've noticed recently a lot of people getting their visa's which is fantastic!!
But i also have noticed that at least three of the timelines shown, show that there visa applications and meds went in at least 2 months after ours and yet they have been granted.
Don't get me wrong, ours is uncomplicated 136 inde. with Modl...should i be looking into this or is this normal?
I have an agent and also get the impression that the public are discouraged from contacting dimia therefore haven't done anything..is that the best way to go..i'm sure it is and my agents seem very clued in,just seems daunting when it feels like we've been missed or passed by...
We are under a little pressure too because we have someone wanting in our house by march and don't want to lose them..
Any comments appreciated...

Go Matilda come highly recommended, and I'm sure you're in safe hands. Give Alan a ring for peace of mind.
We haven't had med requests or PCC, and I sometimes wish we had an agent to lean on.

Hi Lynn
Hubby is also 136 Modl, we were getting pretty worried as four months passed since medicals processed. Agent told us not to worry, but i just needed some sort of confirmation that everything was still ok. In the end i told hubby to phone and guess what VISA GRANTED 3 MONTHS AGO. Our agent hadn't received anything and now were behind 3 mths so will get the house on the market next couple of weeks. Anyway, here are our timelines:
TRA lodged 13/05/05
passed 30/06/05
Visa app ack 11/07/05
meds req 25/08/05
meds sent 20/09/05 and processed 30/09/05
VISA granted 09/11/05 but just found out today!!!
All the best Rula

WoW! i can't believe that is possible esp when you have an agent! it just goes to show that speaking up regardless of the rules,is sometimes what must be done.
Our visa app went in june last year, modl and still desperatly waiting....
Our pressure is that someone wants to buy and be IN our house by March and i don't want to lose the sale...
desperate to nudge dimia,my agents anyone who may beable to nudge but don't want to be a pain to any of them,

Lynn we were lagging behind everyone with our timeline, and yes we worried but got there in the end.
DIMIA has no consistency at all.

I emailed our case officer and found this out, if you're that worried I suggest you do the same.

This is what I mean, it's very difficult for people and agents too,to tell when it's a 'glitch in their own app' and when it's just being in a system that isn't clockwork...

Thanks for that,at least this way it doesn't sound like we are being too 'pestering',I'll bear that in mind,my agent contacted me last night and is going to contact the CO in a few days, this is reassuring...I think what people struggle with is the feeling of being 'powerless to do anything to help it along',my agents are very proactive though, which defitnatly helps.
Any more stories of relevant experiences?

Lynn, I would definitely email your CO. It would put your mind at rest, and it may just be enough to push through your visa grant.
My application was acknowledged on June 6th, emailed my CO twice, to check if any further information was required..................hey presto, 2 days after 2nd email my visa was granted on Oct 26th.
I don't think the CO should be feared, I'd sooner get an email saying "please do not contact us again" rather than sitting at home worrying myself sick.
good luck
