Short-term accomodation in Melbourne?
We don't have £50 a day to spend on accommodation whilst trying to find a flat to rent (not interested in buying) long term. That would consume a large part of our buffer!
Between arriving & succeeding to rent - is there cheap, safe, central-ish accommodation? Staying in a dorm is not an option.
