Hi all, hope you can help.

I have just accepted a job in Cairns, starting on 14 January, so we're making the move from Brisbane in the New Year. My new employers have offered to put us up somewhere for a week or two, while we find a long-term rental.

We are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom self-contained apartment near the Esplanade or anywhere around the CBD for that week or two. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great.

Also, we are looking at getting a long-term rental in the Northern Beaches. Which are the best real estate agents up in that area?

Realestate.com has most rentals on it.
L.J.Hooker and Ray White are probably the largest but there are loads of real estate agents in Cairns.
