Default Shipping Your Possessions..what's Allowed?

Hi wondered if anyone out there could shed light on what things especially garden equipment, tools, bikes, prams etc you can ship over to OZ with no problems? Also are there any good links which give you specific info. on this subject? Thank-you!

Hi there

Have a look over the following threads:-

What questions to ask shippers?
Relocation troubles - did you have this problem ? 2 threads of this title – different responses and material etc
Britannia removals
Taking Pets
Plus other threads on this site on electrical appliances etc may be of interest to you?

In essence, most of the items you mention can be brought in with no probs providing you clean them throughly. Lawn mowers are more tricky and maybe not worthwhile the customs/quarantine hassles here in Australia.

Be careful with Christmas decorations especially pine cones (see above threads), bamboo, rattan, cane, some rough unvarnished woods and other 'natural based items'.

Have a look at the AQIS site:-

Feel free to ask any further questions!

Regards
