We are heading to Brisbane in November and want to ship some stuff over.

Any advice, suggestions or horror stories??

PSS are shipping our stuff to Brisbane, they've been brilliant so far. They're a family firm, even though they're national. They're very busy just now so I would contact them soon.

I didn't have any horror stories to tell but then again I wasn't moving to much stuff. The one thing I would advise is to keep all log numbers, shipping details, dates and phone calls logged, but i'm sure you are anyway ;-)

One thing I wasn't expecting was extra payment at the Bris end for storage (per day charge), docking/port tax and payment for a quarantine/customs inspection. I can't remember how much it was now as it was over a year ago but its worth checking out.

Thanks guys for your info....we are still checking shipping out.. our problem is actualy trying to estimate how much we are actually taking..... then we may get somewhere!!
