Wink Shipping stuff - all arrive ok?

Hi all,

We've decided to go for a 20ft container and bring as much stuff as we can. With 2 young children we think toys, etc will help them settle in plus we've only just managed to buy nice furniture etc here and if we have to sell it we won't be able to buy as nice again once in Oz.

Anyway - has anyone found any problems with the stuff they've put in their containers? Particularly worried about leather sofas (yes I know I won't want leather sofas out in a hot climate but nevermind), electrical stuff etc. Baring in mind stuff will presumably go through some extreme temperatures on its journey round the world?

I have mailed removal companies too but as yet no reply! (Still scoffing easter eggs!).

Cheers all ...

Just about the sofas really. Loads of people buy leather sofas, we have.
We had leather in UK and came out here and bought leather again. You just
can`t beat it in my opinion. My friend brought her leather sofas with her last August and had no problems shipping them.
