Default shipping our stuff

hi all
just another boring question if anyone can oblige with an answer would be grateful thanks

when doing an itinery of the house and surprised at how little we have to take with us

we dont have much bedroom furniture due to having built in wardrobes in each room the only things large that we are taking is tv's, 1xkingsize bed, mattress and a dresser.

considering the average quote people have been getting (approx £2500-£3500)
will it still cost as much for us we really havent got much stuff

have done a search but couldnt find an answer but can anyone reccomend a northwest removals please

ta very much

If you're taking that little, I really wouldn't bother. I mean, apart from the cost of shipping it out there, you also have the storage costs until you get your own place. With the $6000 you'll have saved you can easily get yourself a nice new telly and loads of nice new furniture.

You may as well get some companies out to do a quote.

If it's just a few sentimental things, then Excess Baggage (http://www.excessbaggage.co.uk/) are probably a good bet. You can ship as little as a single crate. This would make far more sense than bothering with containers and the like.

I am using Excess - they pack the goods mid-Feb and we fly a few days later (but I am travelling before arriving in Oz so didnt want the shipment arriving much before we did, especially as it will take a while finding somewhere to live).
