Shipping and flights
I am going to Australia in December. I am shipping just personal stuff, 10 boxes maximum. Can anyone recommend a shipping company. Also I would like to find some cheap one way flights for me and my wife. I want to fly on 21st December to Melbourne. Cheapest I found were £576 each.

Thats the peak time of year - I'll be surprised if you get cheaper! Which airline though? Is it a reputable one?
As for shipping - most companies will do small consignments, you just share a container so it may take longer. Do a few searches on here and you will find plenty of people who have only shipped a small amount.

John Mason have been recommended to me but we're not packing up the whole house but will have more stuff than you. What about Anglo Pacific? I thing they do small amounts but I have seen them bashed on here before so maybe do a search on this forum to see what their reputation is like.....
Good Luck...

I have to admit I have spent AGES getting quotes and for 10 boxes these companies cannot be beaten on price, only dilemna is sizes of boxes - bloody Dyson won't fit in! (I love my Dyson)
flights
travelbag or airline network, worth a phone call as well as an online check
Good luck
remember Singapore give extra baggage allowance with proof of a migration visa!

We've sent 11 40kg boxes with Sevenseas for £535. As for flights what you have been quoted sounds very cheap. Not heard of any cheaper.

Re: Shipping and flights
We flew on Christmas day one year and it was fairly cheaper than the days around that time. So if it's not much bother to you then it's a option.
