We must think alike because the other day we were driving along and saw a cemetary, I said to the hubby, "oh my god look at the state of that... there is now way I would ever be here long enough to be buried in that!!! What a dreadful thought:scared: :scared: :scared:

There are no rough areas in Perth, ever suburb is full of wonderfully kept homes with brilliant neighbours.

It is OZ tho, like schools, hospitals etc there must be a Private Scheme. Them who pays and them who dont.

OZ is a class free society.

Perth has very few immigrants, it's mostly Australians.

You'll be able to holiday all around Asia Pacific instead of all around Europe.

Almost all the ex-pats in Aus are happy, contented and totally forfilled in their lives.

Those that are not never whinge or complain, or band together for mass whingeing sessions, they simply go back to their homeland where they live happily ever after.

Don't bother shipping all you stuff out from the UK because for about $1000 you can fill a 4 x 2

TV programmes here are far better than the UK, up to date programmes with no adverts

The $7000 first time homebuyers grant is for you to use as you wish, you won't need it for all the fees.

Sometimes I think some of the people who HAVE emmigrated know less about Australia than those who plan to come here.

It's better to have a house built in three months than a year, much better quality.

It's hard to get drugs here

You never see poor sad people, because everything good in life is free (including dentists, doctors and ambulances)

Aussies are good sports

sports stars are very good role models for the young and there is not enough sport on the news.

Aussies are not couch potatoes
