Settling in
Just thought i`d share my past couple of months experience
Stayed with relatives when we first arrived for 3 weeks that was plenty of time!!
In that time we bought a car, rented a house for 6 month in Upper Coomera with a dog, and husband got a job.
We have decided that we are going to look for a house closer to the coast.
All our belonging arrived, we packed a container ourselves, 6 boxes got checked by customs mainly shoes and Xmas decorations.
Some of my husbands equipment for work (he`s a chef) was missing from the boxes when we opened them up.
Cant claim because we can only claim for total loss.
Used John Mason not that helpful as we were packing all our own stuff so had to really push for all the info we needed.
But all in all we love it here, and the dog is settling in ok

Hi Coast,
Glad you're settling in ok.
What's Upper Coomera like if you don't mind me asking. And how far away from the beach is it?

So what are the good points abut Coomera?
