we going to OZ in 10 days and thanks God!!! I am not going to see them or even hear from them ( my husbands family) this is most stesfull moment for us and they just can't be happy for us.every time we mention our plans and how happy we feel and enthusiastic, they start paint everything in black, perhaps they fell that i'm taking their son away. he'll be much happier without them i have to say. They are so pesimistic. it's so stresfull....we've been in a very good mood me and my husband and they just ruined everything. I hate them.

I'm still in the UK, but just skype chatting my dad right now, who for the last 2 months has persistently called me at 8:25 on a sunday night, despite my repeatedly telling him that people who have to work for a living like to wind down on a sunday night, and not answer questions like "and hows work", and could he PLEASE call me in the afternoon.

I expect he'll do the same when we get to Aus. no getting rid of him

Its kinda a "life goes on" attitude...

Just had a card from one of my best friends that I have (to be fair) made most of the effort to keep in touch with... she sent a birthday card to my son... (now considering I was her bridesmaid and her sons godmother) she signed it from herself.. her husband.. my godson... and Oliver ?????????? who on earth is Oliver???

Methinks she has not only gotten preggers without letting me know, she has given birth and not even a mention...?? How bad do I feel ???

Yet she still continues to send on birthday cards and money for my kids?!

Am I bonkers to think that she has tried to "drop me from the friend list" but hasn't quite gotten there?

Ah well.. Ce la vie !

Em x
