Sent visa what next?
Got a letter to say they have received our visa application on the 6th Feb 04 do they process it from that date?
How many months after sending the application roughly do they contact you for the police checks etc

about 10months on average.

does your letter not say it will be processed in about 50 weeks, although reading through this site it is a little sooner than that, but as everyone keeps saying be patient and wait for the next thing. Hopefully this will be requesting police checks and medicals but will take some time.

Really does depend on what category visa you have applied for and have you gone State Nominated?
