I think Nick said it was the charge for converting it and sending it, but yours sounds much better and cheaper.

I've been using Paypal to make my transfers each month. I have a UK account - linked to my UK bank account, and an AUS account.

There is a standard Paypal charge, but no commission or extra costs.

I read up on Paypal's terms and conditions, and there's nothing to state that one cannot have several Paypal accounts, so long as they're different types - ie. one personal and one premier.

Much cheaper than using a money transfer company.

Cheaper than getting the banks to do it, and I have to say that although there is very rarely a hitch their customer service has been so good over the last few years that I personally wouldn't use anyone else now.

Oh are you, do you find it is just easy. Then you are doing everything and dealing with the staff at one place, or am i just lazy
