Seasonal confusion!?
Just wondered if it was only me who'd noticed. When we first arrived in Feb our local IGA still had Christmas posters up, now on the local radio station the restaurants are talking about enjoying a meal in the 'Spring air' and on the tele there are still adverts referring to Summer deals, anyone else noticed?

Toowoomba is apparently a city and I've noticed it when I was at the Gold Coast too, so you'll have to try another witty retort lol

I've noticed this too and I'm in NSW. Mainly radio advertisements but sometimes posters in the shops will be well out-of-date.
One radio jingle I recall said 'Come and have your Christmas meal at xxx' made me smile every time I heard it as it was almost February!

I must get back to Queensland to sort this mess out - obviously the place is falling apart without me. I'll be coming home in summer which will be winter and the kids will be starting fourth term of the school year they've just finished so I should be a huge help getting things sorted.
