Morning All,
Hope the hangovers aren't to bad this morning. My head is pounding and my voice is back to a squeak and I was on the lemonade :( It was good to speak to so many of you and also put faces to names. I have to agree with Brido though that the seating arrangements were pretty dismal for us all to meet everybody........however maybe next time we can book somewhere a bit more suitable :D OH apologises for not saying c u to anyone put he was feeling shite again....I have no sympathy he knew he was dodgy but still drank so brought it on himself :D Nasty beach me I know ;) Hope everybody's plans go smoothly especially good luck for SJ and Thomas who need it due to the house sale. Hope it all goes well guys.. and melbourne is everything you want it to be. Anyway back to the books for me I'm afraid :( Luv to all Andrea xx |

Re: Scots going to Oz
Hi guys
Had a fab time yesterday/last night. Feeling okay today but then didn't have as much to drink seeing as how knew I would have to drive today. Really tired though as must have had the noisiest hotel room in Glasgow - fire engines and sirens all through the night. Would agree location wasn't the best for mingling but think I managed to speak to everyone. Definitely have to do it again. Cheers Scotschick |
Re: Scots going to Oz
Guys
Had a great time. Sorry we missed you Mags and Gill, we got there about 6.30, so just missed you mags. I was really suprised with the turnout, I did not even click until the end of the night that there was a third table occupied with aussiemove guys, sorry we never got a chance to catch up and mingle, I did not even realise you were there brido , because of seating arrangements, glad you enjoyed yourseleves anyway and hopefully there will be another. James and Arlene kindly ran us home about 11.00pm or so, glad we did not stay out longer, thomas was working early today. Was great to meet you both since we're neighbours, Arlene hope your hangover aint to bad. Nice to meet everyone for the first time and good luck with all your travel/visa plans. Hoepfully they;ll be another meet before we leave in december if not, then we'll keep you all updated on progress and thanks to all. Sarah-jayne and thomas |

Re: Scots going to Oz
Sorry to miss you too Sarah-Jayne. There were a few other shops I needed to get to before closing and I had a shocking hangover headache so left a bit sharp. Was saying to Margaret that we'll definately get something sorted before Xmas. Maybe a meal or something?
How's everything going? It was really good to meet so many of you yesterday. Ginny, sadly I was on the old slimline tonic and Margaret was on diet coke so we let the side down badly. :p Gill |
