Hi all

We've managed to sell our house at last so we should be moving over to the Cleveland/Thornlands area of Brisbane in November if all goes well.

Our son turned 11 in April and we don't know if he will be moving up to high school in January or does he stay in junior school for another year

Can anyone help us with this info?

High school will move up at year 7 from this year..so if his birthday is before june 30th so he is 12 when you arrive than he will year 7 high school student if his birthday is after june 30 then he will be year 6..a friend of mine lives in cleveland and loves the local primary school

He will be 12 next April, so does that mean he won't be starting high school in January 2015 (sorry for being a bit of a numpty)

We're hoping to put both the kids into Thornlands pimary school, Cleveland primary school was the only school we never got a chance to look around the last time we were out in Oz

Its 4 bedrooms, swimming pool, on a cul de sac, other families who are friendly in the close and best of all we have a home made pub in the garden called the nags head.
