From what I can see for Perth it ends on 29th Sept and they start back on 16th Oct. I think the dates on this calendar are for public schools. Private ones tend to differ by a couple of days or so.

By the way, schools here do not have a half-term break (they're shorter than the UK terms as there are four a year). Once a term starts, that's it, unless there happens to be public holiday in the middle.
