Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone had any heads up on school fees? We hope to immigrate next year and have 4 kids.
We would like to move Victoria, Frankston, Morington Peninsula or Cranbourne, somewhere in that location. Would appreciate knowing how much school fees would roughly be?
Many thanks

Hi,
Look on www.aussiemove.com they will give you information on the schools in the areas you are looking at, then go to each school website and you will find out about fees etc......If you can't get the info from there aussiemove should give you the website for the education authority in that area....there again you should find a list of schools with links to their websites.
hope that helps a bit.

It is not clear whether you are talking about private schools or government schools. As said, you will have to do a bit of research regarding the schools in the areas you mention - even fees for private schools vary widely, mostly between the Catholic and other schools. Some of these links might be helpful:
Online search for Govrnment and Private Schools

Map based search for private (ie. non-government) schools
www.isd.com.au
Association of Independent (ie Private) Schools in Victoria
www.ais.vic.edu.au
Victorian Department of Education
www.education.vic.gov.au
Best of luck

Hi,
What are the main benefits of private schools? Do parents have more of a say in their child's education?
With 4 kids that is 72K per year, that's £30'000 here. It is expensive, I was always lead to believe it was a lot cheaper that in the Uk.
Public it is then,
Thanks anyway,
