Does anybody know the primary school entry age and month for the start of the school year in Perth?

We are planning to arrive in Australia next September with a 5 and 3 year old. Ideally we'd like to travel for 4 months before we eventually settle in Perth, but the duration of our travelling holiday will depend on when the eldest has to start school.

Can anybody help?

That's a really useful website, thanks. It makes reference to 'the start of the school year', but I can't see which actual month of the year this is. Is it September like the UK?
