Hi to all!
My first time writing on forum so hi to all.Wow have read lots of discussions and advise in the last 10 days,to be honest now very disillusioned.
We are waiting for the Tra to come back should be another 3 weeks or so.We meaning my wife and a 6 week old baby boy and a 16 month girl.Have been reading different forums such as house prices, low wages, difficulties of finding jobs for the right trade.I am a welder and have been to Oz before and had no problem finding work. That was about 7 year previous and i understand things have changed. Now i have a family and property has seemed to gone through the roof.
At present aiming towards Perth as have a friend there living in the northern suburbs. He says no problem to finding work, can easily afford a large mortgage etc..But then he has been there 3 years and property wasnt so crazy..he is doing ok.
Sorry but no doubt this question has been asked..
Am i doing the right thing or should i go to my wifes native country of Venezuela and go to live on a Caribbean island???????

As I understand it Perth property is sky high but there are opportunities for you to earn good money in the mines etc. (my husband is welder too) it depends on what you are going for etc.
Good luck with whatever you decide, its a toughy isnt it.

do your sums carefully look at the pros and cons of both options. talk it over between yourselves and make your decision.
will you regret not doing one of them? if so go for it

I hope you manage to work out what is best for your family and enjoy it
welcome to BE

I think you would have a problem going to Venezuela with your wife, there are too many temptations!
