One of the best days of my life spent in the Atherton Tablelands- hiking in the bush, swimming under waterfalls, watching 1000s of fruit bats flying around at dusk and then my now husband proposing on the promenade in Cairns

The variety of fab things you can do in 1 day on the Gold Coast. On Sunday i woke up in a rain forest, had lunch in beautiful Tambourine, had an afternoon kip and hangover recovery session on Burleigh beach and then went for a few cold Strongbows in a lovely country pub (with no pokies!!!!)....love it here
oh yes, and the night before that i was star gazing from the mountain!!!
