Salary Packaging and change of employment
Hi all
My husband purchased a laptop some time ago using the salary packaging scheme provided by his present employer (the laptop is expected to be used 'primarily' for work purposes).
He has a new job offer now, seriously thinking about accepting it.
Is he in any way liable (responsible etc) for the laptop as he is still going to use it for work purposes (but with different employer)? Will he have to return the portion of money that resulted from salary packaging to the company (employer) that facilitated the exercise/Income Tax office etc?

He needs to speak to salary packaging at the new place, they should be able to help.
