Hmmm. Mrs Beoz earned 40GBP in the UK, could save a bean. When she first arrived in Oz she was on $120AUD incl. super. First time in her life she was able to save. Point being $115 is closer to 60k rather than 40k on my opinion.

To match £60k in London you will need around A$150k in my opinion. I personally wouldnt go back for less than $250k but that's just me.

Absolute bollocks. Just my opinion. I was on 60k in London before I left just over 3 years ago. (Without a pay rise for the 3 preceding years like everyone else). Turned up in Sydney on 130k incl super. Was saving more straight away and successive excellent pay rises since.

Though that nice bubble might be turning but it was good whilst it lasted

I might add, they tried to get me back to London last week. Max they could offer 60k. Laugh....... 'Oh but we'll pay for flights'..... Laugh.
