Very good service. They use Brit pilots and service crew.

One other thing - one of their pilots was jailed for drink flying about 6 months ago. So you might want to take a breathalyser!

Only trouble with Royal Brunei is that if - like me - you drink your way across the world, beer in one hand and book in the other, you will end up using your entire handluggage allowance as alcohol! I prefer to pay the little extra, get a bit better service, snf have my drinks brought to me on a tray (only time I get that kind of service, so I like to make the most of it!!)

I found taking my own drink onto Brunei cut out the trying to get served bit.
Only works with wine & spirits though.
If you want the best - Singapore Airlines is it.

Try looking at
http://www.airlinequality.com
They have a forum section with stuff about numerous airlines.
Personally, I've had good UK-Aus flights with Qantas, Cathay, Austrian/Lauda, and Malaysian,
and bad ones with Qantas and Emirates.
I'd fly Cathay for preference, Austrian/Qantas as second choice - that one would come down to price.
