Round in a circle and we're moving to Sydney!
We were originally looking at both Sydney and Melbourne, and then all but stopped looking at Sydney due to the high costs involved. For a while we thought we were going to end up in Brisbane, but decided not to accept a job offer. All of a sudden a job has come up and we're moving to Sydney next month.
Suddenly I have a shed load of research to get done for a city we'd stopped looking at in much detail. HELP!!
Obvious rental costs are a huge issue, and we don't want to pay more than $700pw in rent for a 3 bed minimum. I'd prefer to be paying significantly less, but I'm also realistic and would hate to live in a rough/boring area what is miles away from the coast.
We've narrowed to down to Sutherland Shire or Hornsby. Both seem to have accommodation in our price range, a reasonable Westfield shopping centre nearby, and both have pretty good train links to the CBD. Anyone care to suggest any other areas worth looking at, or care to give me an opinion on the above? I'm not interested in schools, however, since my kids don't go.
