Default Re: Return Tickets ?

It depends on the ticket type as they can have a varying length of validity, however as a general rule it is 12 months. Call the airline to confirm.

We bought return tickets but never used the return part

Cheers

Thanks for replying Paul,

Is it possible to book them without stating a return date ? Is there such a thing as an "open-ended" return ?

Hiya,

There are open tickets but they are a lot more expensive and sometimes not all airlines offer them.

So it would be cheaper to get a return ticket then.
Our 16 yr old does'nt want to come so we thought we could get an open ended ticket, take him with us then if he doesn't like it send him back. If a return ticket is cheaper i think we will get that instead.

I've seen very reasonable one way tickets on austravel.com.au if you guys would like to get them and just get a return ticket for your son?????
There was a one way to Melbourne for £321 not so long back!! Check the site out for cheaper tickets whatever you decide to go with.
Hope that helps.
